  • No wonder hunters like Caleb Kaufman of Washington are drawn to the site. Hunting at Emiquon will be allowed Saturdays, Tuesdays and Thursdays. Drawings are at 5:15 a.m. at the small shed near the boat ramp, east of Illinois Route 97/78. Last year there were 11 stakes.

  • Carl Fuller, with the red stocking cap, and his son Rick Fuller take a closer look at a 1932 Caterpillar Fifteen tractor during the 100 Years of Industry and Ingenuity event at East Peoria's Riverfront Park Sunday afternoon. Carl Fuller, who worked for Caterpillar for 37 years before retiring in the early 90s, helped customers get parts to repair that very tractor as part of his job in the technical services department.
