Sharron Thrush points to her favorite fish, a koi with long eyelashes, in the pond behind the couple's home in Sunnyland. The pond was the first feature Bob Thrush created when he began transforming their yard into a garden paradise about 15 years ago. The couple used many recycled items in their designs, including slabs of broken concrete as pavers around the pond.
